Using Cinnamon to Fight Hypertension
About Cinnamon
Cinnamon is made from the inner bark of an evergreen tree. There are two main types of cinnamon. One is sweeter and lighter than the other. They come in quills which is strips of the bark, they are brown and thin.
Cinnamon is known for its heavenly aroma born into both the bark and the leaves. It usually grows better in a tropical climate and can grow up to 7m. Though it has many uses as mentioned above, it can also be used for abdominal colic. The greatest use for cinnamon is as an insulin supplement. It has proven to be great when one has type two diabetes.
This herb is also good in lowering your blood pressure as it facilitates the circulatory functions of the body. It can also help the elderly with coughing and bringing up of phlegm due to the lack of ambulation.
